Product: Bisimoto V2 header Link: D-series V2, stainless steel [BV2D1615UC] - $629.00 : Bisimoto Engineering, Where Efficiency Meets Technological Perfection!
Chassis: 90 crx si
Days from order to my door: roughly 5 maybe 6 weeks. took quite awhile but then again it takes "10 days to produce"
Days it sat in the box on my floor lol: uhhhhhhh 2-3months. fuck damn honda procrastinators and there parts wall and stock car!
Looks: Mutha fuckin *uhhhhhhhhh,* "betta wipe my juicy juice off ya face!" it's fucking beautiful! a few rough strips of stainless steel but nothing you wont see unless you're a foot away from.
Quality: 9.6 outta 10 This shit owns son! but nothing is perfect; each one is a piece of art hand built over DAYS. this header, or should I say this "sexy glowing sex explosion of a header" is the bee's knee's.
Sound: uhhhh my face went golden with instant happiness and warmth when i heard that shit! uhhh! a 193kmile d16a6 with a fat crespo stg1 cam and open down pipe sounded like a subby at 4500rpms!! it was loud, deffenitly gonna be stared at tomorrow diving to the muffler shop. lol
Feel: It is surprisingly light. looks heavy with all those twists and turns, I'd say it is roughly the same weigh as a plain dc421 header.
Fitment: This was the biggest issue, a ~2hour issue spilt between me and a friend. Remember this is on a ed/ef crx chassis, not much room. on the site is says "* Units are not a/c or p/s compatible. In EF/EE chassis, slight clearance may be required in front x-member.*" this is no lie! we beat the shit out of the xmember for 50minutes with a big crescent wrench, was the best we had, then we broke a wooden ball point hammer, then we got a mini sledge with an axle back, that took care of the 8"x 4"x 2" now dented the fuck up xmember. I want my 2 gallons of sweat back bisi! lol BUT it did eventually fit on there. the clearance with the oil pan is very minimal about 3/4 an inch, a little too close for my taste. the flange was bent about a 1/4", it still bolted down just fine though.
Power difference:The differance in power is substanle! If you dont own a bisimoto header on your semi built n/a, you aren't doing it right!
