hi i have a brown top d16zc, i am putting NPR P29's in and shaving the head .020", which i believe is enough before you need adjustable cam gears. So my question is, will the standard ecu run fine with these little modifications? i was also wondering if my ecu is standard, it looks standard, but it has LED lights built into the top casing showing the air/fuel mixture?

No, your stock ECU will not run that correctly at all. You wouldn't need cam gears, either. .020" off the head has very negligible effects on the cam timing.
LED lights built in to the top? WTF? Get some pics of what you are talking about. There are no stock ECUs that show AFR for Honda. At all. Ever. At least as far as I'm aware.

do you have a PE7 ECU with the 4 LEDs on the side? these are for reading the trouble codes - it is a binary system - that ECU will work with the ZC, just not very well - you should use the 86-87 Integra PG7 ECU
