identifying a 3 stages VTEC head

hi im new bie here....some one has offered me a head of D15B VTEC without ECU, i plan to buy it..and put it at my D15B block.....FYI, i'm living in South East Asia....Jakarta, Indonesia....i want to know...is this a 3 stages vtec head or not?....i have P08 ECU from D15B SOHC VTEC...could it work perfectly for 3 stages vtec to operate if i use P08 ECU?....thnks for all replys....

Oh ok..thanks Ryan...btw...just wondering, could 3 stages vtec head work perfectly with P08 ECU, D15B SOHC vtec block with manual transmission?...i have D15B SOHC vtec (115 HP) with ZC head....vtec doesnt working...wanna change it with 3 stages vtec head.......

yes that's a JDM D15B 3 stage vtec head
in order to get the 3 stage vtec working probably, you'll need to use the P2J ECU. if you car is not OBD2 then you'll need to also convert it to OBD2 with some conversion harness.

P2J ECU?.. I've never heard it....in my country (South East Asia) there's only P08 ECU or P28 ...cud u tell me which honda cars that use P2J ECU?....

yeah, def the right head and you'll need the p2j as previously stated, i plan on doin the same for my dd, so hopefully you'll have sum g/l with yours and can help me in the future:D
