Question about adjusting Ride height

I was wondering for a few days now, since coilovers are adjustable and you change your ride hight say lower 1.5 inches then get an alignment then you either lower it more or raise it back up would you need to get another alignment or is it just when you install the coilovers? I also assume you need to adjust your camber every time you raise or lower it?

You get an alignment at your preferred ride height. If you raise or lower after the alignment you have to get the ride height in the same spot as the aligned height. Make sense. The same goes for air ride setups. Say you have the car aligned at a 2" drop; at any other level it will be out of alignment. You can adjust through many levels but when you go back to that 2" you will be fine. As for your camber, I am not an expert on hondas but for most cars your need for camber adjustment depends on how extreme of a drop you go with. Like on S-10's anything under 3" doesn't need camber correction. Once you hit that 3.5 or more camber will need attention.

Oh that would be a pain in the ass, I will just drop it enough to lose the wheel gap and leave it the fauck alone. Thanks.

If done for a "show car" in a car show, have the car properly aligned and corner weighted at "street" height, then dropped once AT the show is fine.

Just make sure you count the number of turns on the adjusters and that the SLEEVES don't spin when making adjustments to the ride height.

IMHO, not worth the hassle.

Well I am planning on getting either tein ss coilovers or koni shocks with ground control coilovers for performance for autocrossing, not just for looks. I still need to do some reading for what spring rates and sway bars to get, I am thinking ASR 22mm with the brace. Shouldn't take me to long to find a nice setup because this site plus the one I am usually have some really good suspension info and gurus. Google doesn't hurt either.
